Program Overview

This is a 1–2 year program through the Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) designed to help individuals with disabilities explore and succeed in self-employment.

You will complete six assessments, each aligned with a DVR benchmark:

1. Benchmark 1: Initial Self-Employment Exploration

2. Benchmark 2: Business Concept Development

3. Benchmark 3: Market Research & Benefit Analysis

4. Benchmark 4: Financials & Marketing Plan

5. Benchmark 5: Business Plan Development

6. Benchmark 6: Final Plan Submission & DVR Funding Reques

Time Commitment

Each assessment takes approximately 45 minutes You may complete them all at once or wait to be notified between benchmarks

• Upload your resume or required documents when prompted
